Home - Get Involved
Do you have a home you’d like to sell and want to support our mission of making homeownership accessible to low-income families and individuals? If so, selling your home to the foundation can impact the lives of those in need.
Harris Homeownership Foundation can consider purchasing homes if they meet the acquisition criteria. To ensure that our homes meet the needs of our community, all properties acquired by the HarrisHomeownership Foundation must be located in the neighborhoods we serve. Homes are sold to low-income families and individuals who have completed HUD-certified homebuyer classes, promoting owner occupancy and community stability. Additionally, all homes must meet a minimum standard of two bedrooms and one bathroom. We welcome your consideration!

You will be contacted. A walk-through will be scheduled if the home meets the above acquisition criteria.
Our staff will walk the home to determine a repair estimate.
Pricing factors will be evaluated to determine whether an offer will be made. All offers are for cash.
If the Seller makes and accepts an offer, a closing date will be set.
At the Harris Homeownership Foundation, we greatly appreciate the generosity of our community members and businesses who contribute in-kind donations and offer discounts on services associated with renovating homes. Your support is crucial in helping us provide quality homes for low-income individuals and families.
